The Cameron Community is actively engaged in education, both individually and within groups. There are neither taboo topics nor exclusive educators. We are on the journey separately yet together. We believe that John Wesley really meant it when he said,“Think and let think.”
The Jesus Fatwah: Love Your (Muslim) Neighbor as Yourself
Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.
Jan. 5, 12, 19, 26, & Feb. 2
“Much of what passes for information about Islam is weed-like disinformation rooted in stereotype and watered by fear. In the Jesus Fatwah, seventeen Islamic and Christian scholars offer reliable information about what Muslims believe, how they live out their faith, and how we all can be about building relationship across the lines of faith.”
Join us for this class on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. at Cameron UMC for discussion and education. Contact Rev. Jessica if you plan to attend. A $5.00 material fee is requested.
