Pastor
Rev. Jessica Rooks, Pastor of Cameron Church, is a native of Colorado, raised in Arvada. Jessica attended college at Western State College in Gunnison where she received a B.A. in Economics. She then attended seminary at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, receiving her Masters of Divinity degree. Jessica and her husband James met in Youth Group at Westminster United Methodist Church. They were married in June of 2001, and have two daughters, Morgan and Kaylee.
Music Director
Rev. Sandy Stephens, Music Director, is an Iowa native, where she graduated with a degree in Music Education from Coe College and taught music, speech and theatre at a Christian Brothers Catholic high school. She served as music director and director of Christian education at United Methodist and UCC churches in Iowa and Colorado. After receiving a Master of Divinity degree from the Iliff School of Theology in 1978, she served churches in Lakewood, Denver, Littleton and Breckenridge. Sandy currently plays concerts and does music therapy programs at care facilities in the Denver area.
Office Assistant
Linda Rae is a retired executive assistant, formerly with Wings over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. She freelances as an editor/proofreader and volunteers as Cameron’s office assistant. Her favorite pastime is cooking, as evidenced by her collection of a thousand or so cookbooks. A native of California, she is blessed with three marvelous children: identical twin sons, David in Salt Lake and Denny in Littleton, and a daughter, Heidi, in Tucson. Linda Rae shares her home in laughter and love with Prince Charming, Max Donaldson, and their sweet little alley cat, Booger.
