Summer Holiday Worship

In recognition of Memorial Day, we will be holding worship on Wednesday, May 25 at 6:30pm instead of Sunday, May 29. This special holiday Sabbath will feature a bluegrass jam with MicroGrass, bookended with traditional aspects of worship. All are welcome to participate in the jam, so feel free to bring along any instruments or your own singing voice!
We look forward to seeing you next Wednesday!

This service will also be streamed on Zoom. Find our Zoom worship details on the Events page.
For all in-person building use, please don't forget your mask.

Opening Hearts, Opening Minds, and Opening Doors
Cameron United Methodist Church is a progressive Christian community located in the Platt Park neighborhood on historic South Pearl Street in Denver. We are committed to showing God's love and grace to all people. We believe faith is about asking questions of God, ourselves and each other. We believe faith is a journey, enriched through community. We believe that persons are changed along the journey of faith through God's love and grace, which is given to us new each day. Cameron UMC seeks to create a safe, sacred space, so that each person can grow in faith, in love, and in their knowledge of God, and God's presence in the world.
We Welcome and Honor Everyone
We affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We strive to include all persons without regard to sexual orientation, race, nationality, gender, family configuration, ethnic background, economic circumstances, difference in ability, culture or age. Our love and acceptance of each other embody our commitment to building community and our unity in God.
Our Doors ARE OPEN to Same-Gender Ceremonies
Cameron Church welcomes all prepared couples in our congregation and community who desire a Christian Union in the church. Contact the church with questions or inquiries about your celebration of union or marriage. The clergy of Cameron Church invite you to contact them (below) for more information about marriage celebrations.
