Supplies for Afghan Arrivals
In October, Cameron’s Helping Hands Ministry is collecting items for Afghan Arrivals to deliver to Ruby’s Market on S. Pearl St.
Up to 2,000 Afghans are expected to settle in Colorado after the Taliban take over their homeland. Often they have nothing but the clothes on their backs when they resettle. Cameron is joining with the community to prepare supplies to offer our new neighbors. Needed items include: $25 gift cards to grocery stores, socks (adult and kid's sizes), dried Garbanzo beans, no salt nuts, black tea bags, winter hats and gloves, and household cleaning items such as cleaning sprays, sponges, anti-bacterial wipes, and cleaning cloths, as well as toilet paper and paper towels.
Please consider donating through our Amazon link below or dropping off at the church no later than October 31st.

Helping Hands food sharing is one of the ways Cameron participates in social justice for the Denver area.
We prepare sack lunches and offer them to our friends in need at Civic Center Park. Volunteers are needed to donate food supplies, prepare sack lunches and deliver to the park. Watch here to Sign up for our next AfterHours.

Dinner is at 7 each evening and there are usually about 50 people, depending on the weather. Cameron has provided dinner in the past and also donates food to the Delores Project. Watch this space for opportunities to participate!
